Research Focus

Our work spans several key areas of AI and robotics, including:

  • Safe and Trustworthy AI: We emphasize building AI systems that can be trusted, utilizing advanced monitoring, verification, and control to ensure reliable performance.
  • Fault-Tolerant Autonomous Systems: Developing autonomous systems that adapt dynamically, even in unexpected situations, to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
  • Intelligent Transportation Systems: Harnessing AI to improve transportation networks for safer, more efficient mobility solutions.

Our team is actively involved in collaborative research across these domains, supported by funding from prestigious organizations, including the Leverhulme Trust and Royal Society.
